This experience will help you give language to your sense of purpose and aspiration, ideate possible future career paths and identity, offer you data to help you better understand your motives, reputational strengths and possible derailers. 

You will also develop your personal brand online and develop a networking plan to activate the future paths you wish to explore.  If you choose to, the program offers a reboot to your physical wellness with an opt in review of your wellness and a daily yoga and meditation practice while at the offsite. 

Oh, and by the way, you’ll also build a great network of peers with you on the program and a lifetime of memories in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

This program is aimed at professionals who have experienced some career success and who wish to now pursue a future career in tune with their highest aspirations, sense of purpose and values. You will likely be looking for clarity on what to do next to pivot your career.

Most days of the retreat week we offer a half day adventure experience, whether it’s a boat tour to pristine beaches or a zipline high above the tropical rainforest. You are free to join or choose instead to spend your time as you wish, perhaps by the pool or at the stunning local beaches.

We ask that all participants sign up to join the launch call, assessments, 1:1 wellness and 1:1 virtual coaching. The 7 day retreat in the Dominican Republic.

You will be invited to join a kick off call that lasts around 90 minutes.  Your next group interaction is in the 7 days / 6 nights we spend together in Samana, Dominican Republic. And, while we encourage participation throughout, you will always choose for yourself how much time you wish to spend with the group or independently.

Each person also has the option for 1:1 coaching with one session before the retreat and one session during the retreat. Options for follow up coaching are available with your dedicated career strategist.

You will be invited to take the Hogan insight assessment which takes under 45 minutes and to do some light research in advance of joining around your personal brand. In total the homework is under 3 hours.

There are hundreds of international flights from all over the world into the Dominican Republic every day.

The closest airport is El Catey in Samana which is under an hour from the villa. This has good links to Canada. The next closest airport is Santo Domingo which is the nation’s capital and is a 3.5 hour transfer. Further away you have options at Punta Cana (6 hours), Santiago (5 hours) and Puerto Plata ( 5hours). We recommend Santo Domingo as your airport arrival location. 

Once you have your flights just let us know and we can help arrange your private or group transfers (transfers are charged at cost).

The retreat is priced at US $3,950 for the virtual and in person aspects of the program.

Your flights and transfers are not included in the program cost. We can arrange airport transfers for you on request.

While we provide wine and beer at meals, we ask that you cover the cost of any alchoholic drinks while out at the local bars and restaurants. 

All program related excursions and activities are included, however any privately arranged excursions by you would be at your own cost. 

 If you choose to tip the housekeeping and security teams, this is not included.

You need to bring suntan lotion, a swimming costume / shorts, summer gear and perhaps some mosquito repellent. 

If you wish to bring currency, bring Dominican pesos or US dollars.

Other than that, we have you covered.

If you opt to stay at Javo beach cabanas you are welcome to bring a partner, however, they would not be able to join the group workshops. We ask that you do not bring children or elderly relatives with you given our environment and the nature of our activities.

We are in safe hands, Sirkka is a qualified yoga teacher instructor, meaning she teaches yoga teachers how to teach. She is also a design and branding expert with 30+ years in personal branding and who has worked with senior executives all over the world. She speaks fluent English and German.

Ali is the CEO and founder of Mind3, and has coached and trained thousands of senior leaders from some of the world’s most respected brands in over 70 countries worldwide. She is a certified coach, practioner of applied neuroscience and has a background with Korn/Ferry as the world’s most reknowned career company.

You will need to sign our waiver, and provide your own travel insurance to join the retreat. 

You don’t need a car and we have drivers ready to transport you locally while at the retreat, however if you would like to hire your own car we can help you organize that and have the car at your accommodation.

The e-Ticket is not a visa. You must also follow the Dominican Republic’s visa policy for your nationality.

It’s highly unlikely to be needed, but should there be an accident our nearest medical facility is 45 miniutes away by car in Samana and has reputable doctors and medical facilities. Santo Domingo is 3 hours away. All accomodation has great WIFI and you will feel connected to home.

To secure your place on the next retreat, we ask you for a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price. The balance of the payment is due within 30 days of reservation. In the event of cancellation on or before March 30th 2024, we will refund any money paid over the deposit price. In the event of cancellation after the 30th of March 2024, no refund will be made, however, we will offer you a place on another upcoming retreat at a discounted rate.
